UPS is Trafford Council’s main contractor for all Disabled Funded Grants Major Adaptations including level access showers and extensions. UPS Electrical & Mechanical carries out all all electrical works such as new EICR inspections, installation of new lighting, fans, showers, and wiring to new extensions.

UPS carries out responsive repairs and voids services to support Guinness Partnership’s in-house team, City Response, which includes EICR testing, re-wires, electrical repairs and remedial works, central heating upgrades and replacements to void properties, as well as reactive repairs.

UPS has delivered a range of major building works services via the Specialist Minor Improvements Building Framework since 2015, including the construction of new build extensions. We undertake the full electrical and heating installations, sometimes with specialist equipment which requires interface with client nominated contractors.

Complete upgrade of 6 bedroom property including rewire of power, bespoke lighting, wiring to wet and electric underfloor heating, cameras, alarm system, smoke alarms and power to garage and electric gates.
This work has been completed along side other building works following a programme of works.

We were contacted by Mr. Lewis to quote for a NICEIC Electrical Condition Report (EICR) to access the condition of the installation at this property due to Nuisance tripping at his property.
Following a successful quotation and test, we highlighted various issues with the electrical installation and carried out all necessary remedial works, this also included the install of 2 x 18th edition consumer units. We had to liaise with the DNO supplier on behalf of the client to arrange for a new isolator to be fitted before the remedial works could be carried out.

Following a phone call from 1 of our clients in regards on heating at this property, we attended and supplied temporary heaters before arranging an appointment for the tenant to have the heating upgraded with new storage heating throughout.
We had the new heaters delivered to site within 2 days and installed 4 new storage heaters and new consumer unit.
